Cancellation policy – Apartment “Forest & Wind”

The following cancellation policy applies to bookings of our apartment “Forest & Wind – Nature Meets Modernity”. This policy is designed to give guests planning security and to allow us, as hosts, to achieve reliable occupancy.

1. Standard rate – restricted / moderate-strict

Conclusion of contract: The accommodation contract is concluded upon booking via our website, Smoobu or a booking platform and written confirmation (email / booking confirmation).

  • Cancellations are free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.
  • Payments already made will be refunded in full in this case.

Cancellation 14 to 7 days before arrival

  • For cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total price of the accommodation will be charged.
  • The remaining 50% will be refunded.


Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival / No-show

  • In case of cancellation less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the total price of the accommodation will be charged.
  • A refund of the accommodation price is no longer possible during this period.


Cancellation form

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (email or via the booking platform used).
  • The decisive factor for compliance with the deadlines is the date on which the cancellation is received.

Recommendation for travel cancellation insurance: To protect against unforeseen events, we recommend taking out travel cancellation and interruption insurance.


2. Non-refundable savings rate

In addition to the standard rate, we offer a discounted, non-refundable saver rate for price-conscious guests.

Character of the savings rate

  • The total amount is due immediately after booking.
  • This rate is usually 5–10% cheaper than the standard rate and is suitable for guests with fixed travel plans.

Cancellation / Rebooking

  • In case of cancellation, rebooking or no-show, the accommodation price will not be refunded.
  • A subsequent conversion of the savings rate into the flexible standard rate is not possible.


3. Note for bookings via portals

For bookings made via portals (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com), the cancellation policies displayed there apply, which correspond in content to the standard rate or the non-refundable saver rate described above.
